Our Partners

Redhill Academy Trust

Belief are delighted to be partnered with the Redhill Academy Trust. We have worked with seven of their secondary schools to provide football coaching and our Belief Girls Tournament. Our coaching is different. Prioritising the social and psychological development over the technical and tactical. Why? Because we are not a football academy, we are a leadership programme. Meanwhile, our tournaments allow girls to represent their schools and participate in a competition which prioritises participation over performance, enjoyment over pressure and personal growth over results.

Nottinghamshire FA

The FA and Nottinghamshire FA work with Belief with the shared mission of ensuring more girls participate in and stay in football. Data shows that over 60% of girls that play football when they are 11, drop out by the age of 13. Belief and The FA are especially driven to provide more pathways into competitive football for girls based in Nottingham city. By collaborating with the Nottinghamshire FA, we are able to signpost girls who are interested in playing football outside of school, to teams in their local area.

Elevate Media

Belief and Elevate are working collaboratively to tell our story as to why we exist, how we aim to make a change and what we do to impact our local community. Led by Adam, Elevate initially contacted Belief with the hope of sharing our mission to the world. Elevate create innovative, inspiring media content from our tournaments and our coaching, alongside insight from our staff and, most importantly, the young people we work with.

Nottingham Trent University

The YMCA

….and many more!

Belief is proudly associated with Nottingham Trent University. Through our links with the university, we are accommodating PhD and Masters students researching the barriers facing girls from different socio-economic, cultural and contextual backgrounds participating in football. Simultaneously, helping us to review and evaluate the impact of our programme. The NTU Coaching Academy also provides Belief with invaluable support by allowing students, who are studying sports-related degrees, to gain experience coaching in our environments.

Together with the YMCA, Belief are exploring ways in which we can develop confident, creative and resilient young people through sport, mentoring and leadership programmes - particularly for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our shared aim to help improve young people’s lives means that our partnership is crucial in evaluating our impact in local communities. The YMCA have also helped deliver additional, fun activities at our tournaments.

Active Notts

Belief and Active Notts are working together to design girls leadership frameworks, as well as sharing participation strategies: ensuring girls not only attend, but stay in football. Through the affiliated Girls Active scheme, as part of the Youth Sport Trust, we are working with schools to provide ensure we use national, informed research along with opportunities for our young people to share their experiences, to help deliver best practice to girls in our programmes.
